I've got and IP Office 500V2 that was in service for 3 months before the PS died. This was my first install and I have since installed 2 others and have bid 3 more. Has anyone else had these die that quickly? I'm concerned about the reliability. Also when you swap out the main unit do you have to do a total reporgram or is there a way to transfer the programming to the replacement unit? Thanks.

It can happen and t can happen to anything so do not worry.
Get another ip500v2 and swap all cards.
The config is on the SD card so it should come back as it already was.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

I am guessing you are in the UK, as 240v kills the power supplies more frequently than 110v of the US etc. Apparently there is not an issue with it though according to Avaya, but we have had quite a few go bang over the years, maybe 1 in 20 possibly more (even behind UPS) :)
