IP 500 v1 won't play message

Has anyone come across an IP 500 v1 that won't play recorded messages that are longer than 1 minute? 15 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec messages play just fine. As soon as the message hits 1 min in length or longer, won't play. Heard rumor the only fix is to upgrade to v2. Checked with Catalyst and they had not heard of the prob.
 
And are you talking embedded voicemail or vm pro? Is it the users greeting or a message left you are referring to? Or an announcement?

So you can't play the emailed wav file? Or does it not arrive if it is over a minute long? If the message is being sent, this doesn't sound like an IPO issue, it sounds like an issue with your email service.

Have you tried taking email off a user, leaving a longer message, and listening to it from an IPO telephone?
 
Correct, cannot play the emailed wav file. It almost appears as if the file gets corrupted. Appears to play OK within the VM.

Have not tried your suggestion. Thnx
 
It has worked in the past and recently stopped being able to play the messages out of email.

Another example of thing gettin broke by software updates, it cannot be IP Office unless the SD Card is nearly full.

Sounds exactly like an update that now no longer lets the email through proper. Not an IPO issue.
