What is the easiest way to put a block of these from buttons 35 to 48 on an eu 24 will not let me copy and paste them on the 9650 ip phones either. V6.0.8
It will only put them right after call appearances. You can try filling the phone up to 34 with call appearances and then put your line appearances. then remove the call appearances. I dont know if this will work.

Just did that and it did work Just took a little while I have one guy that is having an issue with one LA button the rest work fine Seems to only be only on his two phones one digital and one ip Noone else is having an issue
Don't be shocked if this work-around causes issues in the future. Don't want to be doom and gloom, but Avaya hasn't wavered on the requirement that they be contiguous to CA buttons.

That seems to be an issuse I am having. I have a Trading office that uses ARD lines and they wanted the LA buttons for the customers in the middle of the pack. Not sure if I start from button one and make them all LA buttons and then make there DIAL buttons right after that. Could be it does not like the buttons to be all over the place
The main issue is that on an incoming call they have to hit the button once or twice but only on certain lines. Would it be better if i make my CA buttons first then my LA buttons and then my DIAL buttons all in order. Do not skip back and forth.
They dont have PRI/T1 yet. the 20th . So they want to see all their POTS lines dont ask. they are a trading company so they use ring down lines and need to see all of those which are analog. (8) They dont want to scroll through pages or have to look anywhere but right at the phone and the EU 24 first page for all their lines. Having an issue with the ring downs though. Calls come in fine but outbound they hit the LA button and then have to hit a second digit to access the line. Not sure why they cannot just hit the button and gain access. Tried everything. Thought that the Avaya would be a cost effective solution for a small office but not working out that way so far
that makes sense. I will give it a shot. my other issue is that when pushing the button which is a LA button (Ring Down) it is giving me secondary dial tone. I have to then hit another key and the system will then connect the call with a long delay While butt set is connected to trunk and you hit the button on phone it starts dialing immediately and you hear the customer on butt set but you have to hit another digit on the phone to be connected.
Yes use the solution that tlpeter suggested incoming have the calls go to groups nad give the users a group button and they can see it flash and have the phone ring with displaying the name you want. That way you don't need to redo the programming when the PRI comes in. Outgoing use a different dialoutcode and make one ARS for each group which you can then also reuse when the PRI gets used.
it seems that all of these little things are helping get to a solution I thank you guys very much. If i can fiqure how to get these ring down lines to work i may retire from the industry lol
I have the thought of retiring about twice a week but 43 is apparently not old enough even after almost 26 years in the business.
Ringdown should work the same way a regular line is working but without the need to dial and that is probably why the IPO is stalling. Incoming is not a problem but outgoing to make it pick up and hold the connection seems tricky.
yes that is the 100000000 dollar question. I will give myself an extra xmass bonus if i figure this out 39 is not old enough to retire either lol long way to go If you come up with anything you get the bonus lol
