IP 500...Digital Ports

I cannot get dial tone on any digital ports on an IP500.
Analog is fine and it does see the digital control units but no DT.
Any thoughts?

What kind of phone do you connect to it ?
What kind of digital module is it ?
What is the software level of the ip500 ?
What is the software level of the digital module ?
If it is a DS16/30V2 is it upgraded to 3.2.999 first ?

It is not running external units just DS-(1-8) that plug into the IP 500.
We are using 2420 sets.

Did those 2420 upgrade to R5.00 ?

What is the software level of the ip500 ?

The software level of the IP500 is 4.2.
It is an existing system. The DS8 was working but stopped so I have replaced with 3 different DS8's all with the same results.

Did you pull the power before the swap ?

Then you are doing something wrong, you haven't been hot swapping the cards have you? It's a power down for each change :)

Yes I have been powering down before installing cards.
Like I said, it ses the cards but NDT.

Did you try with the phone plugged in to the module straight away ?

Did you try a different slot ?

What is displayed on the handsets? In SSA what does it show against the ports on the card?
