IP 500 - ATA Adapter question

Can we use a Linksys PAP2 adapter for cordless POTS phones? Is there another ATA device that will work if the linksys does not? The Avaya one is expensive for being a ATA device.

We keep losing expensive Avaya VoIP wireless phones in shipping receiving and I would just rather use a cheap POTS $50 special from a retailer since the life span on the cordless phones is less than a month in our office.

I have worked with the PAP2T and the SPA2102 both worked great even when you wan't to use it for a FAX.

You need a PAP2T or SPA2102 and an "Avaya 3rd party IP end point" licence. And 15 min of config time if you know how to set them up.
