IP 500 at home blocks Internet access

Probably a really simple one here.

I have an IP500v2 at home and I want to install it on my network at home. simple.

My home router is a D-Link
IP address is 192.168.1.1, 255.255.255.0

IPO Lan 1 192.168.1.100,255.255.255.0.

IP route in IPO 0.0.0.0,0.0.0.0,192.168.1.1, LAN 1

When I plug the IP0 into the router my internet access is blocked. The router stays connected to my ISP but my computers cannot connect. Only a reboot and disconnecting the IPO fixes this.

I have tried LAN2, I have tried different subnets on the IPO.

Any ides?
 
Is the IPO doing the DHCP? if so it will be telling the pc's that it is the default gateway which it isn't and so that's why it fails :)

The IP route in the IPO would take care of the gateway problem problem, it is more likely to be a problem with DNS
have you set DNS addresses in the IPO?

also make sure the DHCP server is disabled in the router if you are using the IPO (or Vise Versa).

I have connected mine like so;

LAN (internal network) > LAN1 (IPO) > LAN2 (IPO) > Router

On de the LAN2;

enable NAT needs to be ticked, and firewall profile needs to be <none>

Ip route; 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0/x.x.x.x (Router IP) and proxy ARP ticked.
