Hi all,
I have IP Office 406 (4.2 manager) on the network behind a router that I can access from a laptop by plugging into a switch to which the IP Office is connected. I cannot ping it from outside of the router. However I can ping any other devices connected to the same switch as IP Office.
I tried everything I know but cannot find the solution (I want to be able to administer IP Office remotely, within the LAN). Any ideas where to look???
Thank you

You need to ad an IP Route into the IP Office with the Router as the gateway and 0.0.0.0 and 0.0.0.0 as the ip address and subnet mask

ACS - IP Office Implement

add an IP route in the IPO thru the Manager.

like so.

0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0 / xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

and xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your Gateway to the internet.
