Embedded VM for a 406 shows offline on the digital sets but when I put it into another 406 it shows online and working from the sets. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You need to tell the system to use embedded, if you have perhaps the CF card reader is goosed :)

Software mismatch? embedded voicemail can be upgraded too.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

They still typically work, just the prompts can be a bit off in that scenario :)

Yes I do have it set for Embedded and the card works in the other 406.

Then try to upgrade the prompts as suggested, I've never seen it make the system not even recognise it, but this is Avaya and the old embedded cards can be finicky :)

Because I've not seen it mentioned, I hope that you are only removing/inserting the card whilst the 406 is shutdown (or removing after using a "Shut Down Embedded Voicemail" short code). Note also that unlike an SD card, the voicemail is not automatically restarted when the card is inserted, it must be inserted into a system that is off and the system then restarted.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yes it was always powered down before removing the cards.
