Every now and again incoming calls will sounds like static, but outgoing calls are fine. My solution so far is a restart of the switch either soft or hard.
Could my PRI card be going out? This happens maybe 6 times in a month then stops for 3 months before happening again.
My settings for the PRI are as follows:
Switch Type: 5ESS
Channel Allocation: 23 to 1
Clock Quality: Network
CRC checking enabled
Haul Length: 0-115ft
Line SubType: PRI
Provider is local telco
Framing: ESF
Zero Suppression: B8ZS
Line Signalling: CPE
Incoming Routing Digits 4
