We have a door phone working on our 403. However we do not want voice mail to pickup on this ext. The door phone gets to a hunt group with voice mail. Can we disable voicemail on this ext. The ext profile has voicemail unchecked.

Thanks
Dan

Unchecking Voicemail for the hunt groups settings within the IP Office configuration should do the trick.

If your running Voicemail Pro in Intuity emulation mode, you can also login to the hunt group mailbox and then switch of a feature called Accept call answer (Login, pres 5, then 7 and then 1 to toggle it on or off).

Going the whole hog with VM Pro, you could customise the Leave start point for that hunt group to something other than leavign a message, ie. a transfer.

Or, if you still want voicemail for the huntgroup but NOT when it's the doorphone calling that group, in VMPro create a custom Leav start point as sizbut suggested and begin with a CLI routing token. Create an entry that matches the extension number of the doorphone's POTS port, and link that to a transfer or whatever (perhaps back to the same group again, or a receptionist) and link the no match result to a leave mail token :)

Thanks for the feedback, yes , do want to keep the huntgroup voicemail. Still a little confused as to the setup. If we can not answer the door phone we would like the call to go nowhere( just drop it)

Make a 2nd group for the doo phone to call without VM & put in the same useres
you would still not be able to drop the call :-(

If you have VM pro you could route the door Phone to VM, the use a supervised transfer to a door group.

Using my example above (again assuming you have VMPro) connect the extension number result from the CLI Routing token to a disconnect token.
