ip 1220 set not registering to srg 400 1.5 2

Can anyone say how I can get ip 1220 phone to register to an srg400 1.5.
I can only get the i2004 and i2002 to register.
I was able to get the phones to register to CS1000 5.5
I have also updated the srg and cs1000 with the latest patch from Nortel

what s/w level is on the srg 4.0 or 3.7?

The release is 4.0

I don't believe 12xx series phones are compatible with 4.0. Only 11xx and i2xxx series.

DB is correct unless Nortel has made changes. They're compatible w/ BCM50 R3, BCM450, & CS1k 5.5

Is your Bcm 4.0 patched to the latest?
In the latest Core update(BCM.R400.261-CORE) it says that it includes the following superseded updates which one as this issue fixed in it.

I guess it's a typo error in Nortel's Doc...

1200 series are not supported on 400! I have the new 450 and it works fine, but I was never able to use it on our home office.
