IOS-Version 7

Hello!

Can somebody give me some information about the version 7. Is the version "stable" (i will upgrade from 6.3(4)).

On the acutal pix i have a lot of nonat-access-lists. i think this will not be needed in version 7, right?

Are there some issues?

What Pix model do you run? It's not available on the 501 or 506E.

Well... 6.3(4) wasn't consider GD or general deployment. 7.0(1) isn't GD either.

I'll tell you that I have been running it in a production environment since a little bit after it's release w/o any problems.

Heard today of some problems, we're sticking with 6.3(4) for now. Don't remember specifics, but our tech had a conference call with some TAC people about it.

yes i know. i will use it on a 515e and on a 520er pix-cluster.

i will use the QOS-function on the pix as well.

martinp05, v7 will not work on 520, only 515.
