IOS upgrade

I have two 2600 series routers with two wic-2t WAN cards already live on the network. I need to add a network module and another wic-2t for a total of 6 serial ports.
According to Cisco, this unit will support up to 4 wix-2t cards.
I understand I have to upgrade the IOS to at least 12.1, but I am unclear on exactly how to pick the software to upgrade to. I am concerned with supporting the additional hardware I am adding (NM-2W, WIC-2T).
Is it possible to render the router unbootable if I pick the wrong IOS image?
How do I find a compatable IOS?
I am not sure what all to look for other than flash and RAM size
I have pasted the "SH VER".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should call Cisco, and have them choose the IOS for you.

Check software advisor on CCO to check the result for a 12.0 for example.
