ios image for 2500 cisco routers: please help

Hello

I am learning how to cisco in a community college.
Anyone know how I can get ios image for a 2500 series router?

I have tried asking cisco, and they declined my request.

I am not in no way using it for profit. I just want to learn how to use it and learn the steps to upgrade an ios.

Please help

first I'd recommend going to the Administrator of the school and finding out what kind of things they can do for you. If they have an account, they can normally get the IOS for you. Are you using this for personal use or for upgrading the IOS for the school?

The school has no cisco account, This is a fairly new class. Some of the routers have been donated to the school from other businesses. As I stated before, it is not for profit....I only want the experience. I don't own a router but would like to someday.

Correct me if I am wrong - your school has been given 2500 routers, but these did not come with IOS, or what? If they have an IOS in the flash and you just need instructions how to download IOS from your routers, thats OK, I can help you with that. However if your routers do not have IOS in their flash memory, go ask your donors for it. Don't ask here, nobody will give you an IOS, nor a link where you can get it.
