iomega rev not seeing disk

Hi, have an Iomega Rev Drive which will not read any disk you put in it. Have rebooted, it then works, swapped the disk and it stops. There are also read and access denied errors. Is this on its way out? Has worked fine up until today.

Make sure the media disks are clean and unscratched, the drive's cables are securely connected, try a different power lead and a different known working data cable if it's internal, try a different known working USB/firewire cable and port if it's external, and clean the drive's lens.
If no luck, then try it on another system. If no good, then it may be bad.

Hi.
We had a spare new one incase anything went wrong. Stuck that in, it worked for about 10mins then didnt see anything in the drive. It know it was there to format, but couldn't read it?!

Is it internal or external?
Try different cables, ports, computers, etc.?
Check for viruses?
