IOD 319

Please can somebody help me out here. I'm getting the data {display) from my CPU (OPT 11 mini PBX)up to this message IOD 319 2. which means TTY 2 is enabled. I tried to ENTER to proceed further, I could not. I'm using Procum Plus. What will I do to LOGIN?

What happens when you try to log in?
If you just hit ENTER do you get any OVL messages?

Nothing happens when I try to log in and nothing happens if I hit ENTER.

what you're seeing is probably bouncing IOD318 and 319 - you're not going to see the 318 unless you were logged into another tty like 0 and print the history file.

Use tty 0 or 1 to login, or time your login exactly when you see 319 on tty 2.

How can I get to TTY 0 or TTy 1?

On the display where you're seeing the 319, look in the back/side and follow the serial cable. This cable should be connected to tty2 cable coming from the PBX, follow this cable until you find where it connect to the PBX and there should be 2 other cables coming from it. Follow those, one of them is tty0 and the other is tty1.

You are very correct but I have only one cable behind the Pbx. Thanks for your advice and contribution. Meanwhile, it's working now. One of my attached cables to USB/SERIAL cable was bad. I just changed it. Procumm Plus is ok now when I hit ENTER.
