does anyone have the document that gives the switch settings for io port assignment on a dse digital line card for the nupoint vm rel 7 , I recently installed 24 ports to an existing vm but misplaced the information for setting the io port the line card uses, since the expansion the network card locks up and system has to be rebooted to get it going again , I think I have an io port assignment conflict.
Thank You

Is this what you are looking for?

Table 1 DSP24/30 - I/O Addresses and Switch Settings
Card Config. Number Base I/O address (Hex) Setting Sw1-1 Setting Sw1-2 Setting Sw1-3 Setting Sw1-4 Setting Sw1-5 Setting Sw1-6
DSP[0] 02A0 On On On On Off On
DSP[1] 22A0 Off On On On Off On

Thanks pandabear but I was looking for the settings for the dse cards not the dsp cards, the dse card also has switches to set the io address.

I found this but will keep looking

DSE Card
Use DSE card p/n 2401-0229-02. See Figure 2. J3 is not used; do not set any jumpers.

also found this not sure if this helps.

To configure DSE cards, follow these steps for each card:
(a) Select (A) Add Resource card, then at the prompt, enter the slot number for the DSE card, then select (I) DSE.
(b) Select (C) Configure resource card, then at the prompt, enter the slot number.
(c) Select (I) Change Serial ID, then at the prompt enter the serial number for the card that you recorded earlier.
(d) Select (T) Type of PBX-interface, then at the prompt, select (M) Mitel.

Thanks again but I have all that information , on this site we added 24 ports to an existing 24 port service the resource manager has already been configured , at the time of the install one of the dse cards came with a document to set the io address on the card but I can,t find the document any more (stupid me ) however now I think I have an address conflict with one of the cards and the network card ,it keeps locking up and the system needs to be rebooted to get it going again. The customer uses npadmin to do programming .Thank's again

I found my answer there are no switch settings on the dse cards only the dsp card the vm sets the io address automatically thank's pandabear for all the suggestions it put me on the right path.
