Invoice Report Paging Error - Duplicate 'Ghost' items

One of our invoices has started behaving strangely, for one and only one customer. The customer's record is linked to a number - 74 in this case - of Invoice Item records. When printing the invoice, 103 items appear, some of these apparently random duplicates. All searches from entry/modification views still only yield 74 records! When a print preview is made of the invoice, the pagination is erratic and the duplication is evident. This sounds like some kind of a printing problem, more so than say, a corruption of indices. I am totally at a loss. It is Approach XP that is being used, recently upgraded. This is the first time a problem like this has occured. Any ideas!

I have seen some duplication of items, but usually I am including a memo field and using the "expand/reduce" properties to print all of the memo field content. This has been "fixed" in the newest 9.8 release, according to Lotus.

Also check your report properties for an "outer join" which may be bringing in more records than you want.

Sue - Many thanx for your input. I have NEVER been happy with the expand/reduce behaviours and I will give what you suggest a shot. My problem is compounded by the fact I am 300 miles from base in Scotland

I had this problem once when I changed the calculation formula of a field that was included on the report. I labored with this problem for months. I finally solved it by deleting the calculated field and report, rebuilding the calculated field and rebuilding the report. I don't understand what changed but this solved the problem. Good luck.
