Hello all

I have a colleague who wants to have a chart with the scale inverted on the Y axis i.e. instead of 1 to 7 7 to 1.

Excel provides a values in reverse order function but this is not a mathematically sound representation.

Is there another method either VBA or pivot tables that would allow this?

Many thanks in advance

Neil

Can you explain why Values In Reverse order is not a mathematically sound representation?

Glenn.

Yes Glenn

It simply flips the graph it doesnt actually reverse the values and keep the x axis at the bottom.

I cant elaborate any further but in terms of the proper presentation of a graph hes the mathematician and he doesnt like it. Admittedly if you try it does look very wrong.

Cheers

To keep the x axis at the bottom, then also tick the "Category (X) axis crosses at maximum value" tickbox.

Cheers, Glenn.
