Inventory Report with first put in stock and last sold date

I'm not a professional, but using Crystal Reports 7 For more then 8 years,
my question today is simple
how can i format my inventory list to show the first Date i bought this item - and the last Date it was sold

That would depend of what data you store you have about the item.
What is the structure of your table(s)?

I'm using dbf files that collecting the data some of them like the inventory file Called landINV dont have transaction detailed info to make reports smooth and quick, in order to get details like last sold date i need to use a file called landTD or to see last time i bought this item i use landADJ
so i need to create a formula thats give me just the last date of sale out from all other

If you group on item, you should be able to use formulas like this in the group header or footer:

//{@firstdatebought}:
minimum({landadj.date},{landinv.item})

//{@lastdatesold}:
maximum({landtd.date},{landinv.item})
