Dear all,

I have a one database called ONEDAT in my SQL Server.
I am also creating a new database called TWODAT. Now i copied all the data from ONEDAT to TWODAT.

Problem:
Can someone tell me how I make Inventory ZERO in my TWODAT? I need all the rest information except the inventory details.

Many thanks.

Thanks.

Would you please let me know the procedure, I a new in ACCPAC so have no idea.

Many thanks.

Then you're way over your head. Don't you have a local Accpac consultant?

not at the moment but we try to find out.
But if you just give me an idea how i do that I'll work on it by myself.

Thanks.

Another way would be to run the inventory valuation report and use it to create an IC adjustment transaction. You'll still have all of the historical transactions in IC but the value will be zero and your items will still be there.

Hello guys,

Can you please advise, if I delete the Inventory data by using DROP command in SQL. Is there any impact is going on the system?

My inventory team are not wants to see the stock, items detail and items history (almost new database).

Any suggestion please....

If you try to use SQL DROP commands to clear out ICILOC, ICIVAL, ICHIST, etc., you will screw up your system. Either use the suggestions above, or adjust your inventory to zero quantities and costs, and run Periodic Processing/Clear History.

Thanks guys.

Let me forward these suggestions to inventory team and see how they go.

Thanks guys for help me for Inventory.

Can you please help me to do the same for Order Entry and Purcahse Order please.

That would be highly appreciated.

1. Create an empty company with the identical modules activated
2. Dbdump both companies
3. Copy the OE and PO *.REC files from the empty to the non-empty
4. Dbload
