Today I shutdown an E450 connected to a set of A5000s, both A5000s are setup in a full loop configuration. When the system's power was off, the fiber cables were removed from the 450 while it was opened up for maintenance. Once all cables were replaced and the system booted up, there were 3 out of the 24 disks that reported that they had an INVALID WWN with 'luxadm disp ' and their WWNs were listed as being a bunch of 0s for each. All other disks looked fine. Before we shutdown the system, everything looked good in both arrays. Any ideas as to why this may have happened? Any suggestions on how to clear this error? Thanks,
Troy

I used luxadm to remove and re-insert one of the 'Invalid WWN' disks and that cleared the error for all of them. Note that in the /var/adm/messages log, I also saw the following message as I did this:

Unable to allocate target structure for switch setting XX
reason: ISP fw not done with PRLI for this node

My ifp driver is currently at patch level 107292-02, so I'm betting this problem may be corrected by applying patch 107292-08 to the system. If you have any other thoughts on the matter, I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks,

Troy
