Some of raw lvs were removed, and they got restored from backup. After the restoration, the lv type should have said "raw" like the other two, but they show as "???".
What would be the cause and the fix for this?

thx much

prod_2048_149 raw 16 16 10 closed/syncd N/A
prod_4096_273 raw 32 32 10 closed/syncd N/A
prod_8192_079 ??? 64 64 10 closed/syncd N/A
prod_2048_148 ??? 16 16 10 closed/syncd N/A
prod_0128_079 ??? 1 1 1 closed/syncd N/A
prod_0128_080 ??? 1 1 1 closed/syncd N/A
prod_256_006 ??? 2 2 2 closed/syncd N/A

AIX doesn't "know" the LV type "raw", so my guess is your restore simply created data LVs without specifying a type. Can't you reset the LV types?

[tt]chlv -t "raw" prod_8192_079
chlv -t "raw" prod_2048_148
...[/tt]
