Somebody set a wrong shell for root user. Now I'm having problem to login as root. Is there a way to overcome this issue? Please don't tell me I have to reinstall everything.
If you do a 'OK> boot cdrom -s' it will boot into single user mode without starting the installation, and you can mount the file systems and edit your files.
Hi there dbase77, go for the CD option, that will save effort and time of course, try interruptig with Ctrl-Break, but please do TRY interrupting with this sequence: ~#, it is kind of hard to interrupt in the right time but give it a try a few times during boot sequence and will work for sure.
Hope this helps,
C.
