Does anyone know of any conflicts or special settings between a MAP 40P running latest version of Intuity Messaging R5.1.56 (CLAN Integration) and Com MGR R4.0 or R5.0?

The MAP40P is brand new and all 24 ports answer properly via intercom testing of their extension - traffic over the analog ports.

The issue seems to be over the CLAN link. It is up - but when we're calling via the cover extension - which should be running over the LAN link ... Audix answers but not the correct "Welcome to Audix" message ... rather we're asked to renter the station.

When we do a trace it shows one of the analog ports answering the call but it gets no "caller id" info from the calling extension - so it does not know what voicemail box to go to and doesn't answer with the standard message - Welcome to Audix.

All settings are correct on the MAP40P (we think) - we have installed 100s of MAPs over the years ... so we are guessing that the issue must be in a setting on the newer CM 4 or 5 software that we are missing or have configured incorrectly.

Any ideas or tips to try?

I'm CM4.1 w/Intuity 5.1 with nothing unusual done to get it to work.

You've done 100s and I'm sure you've checked:

PBX: Node-Name, Communication Links, Data Module, Processor Channels, IP-Interface

AUDIX: Switch Link Administration.

If it is a dedicated CLAN could it be a non-crossover cable or an issue with speed/duplexing?

For non-dedicated, again the speed/duplexing, gateway specification, network regions

I'm sure you've status'd the link and everything is aok?

Got it working had a setting wrong on the node thought we checked it but did not so goes to show just do the basics right and you won't have many problems thanks for the help
