I have a new R5 Intuity Audix that works great and then just goes to sleep. I pull up the error and alarm reports and their is nothing. Our Avaya business partner "thinks" it may be the power supply. Any other ideas???

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Is it always at the same time of day, is anything else on same circuit? By going to sleep does it ever show back up the monitor or does it go through a reboot process?

It dies. After you bag on the keyboard a little bit it starts the reboot process. It is the only thing on the circuit. It is a circuit off a UPS. I have checked the polarity on the plug and it is fine. Our vender first told me that they thought it was the mother board and sim chips. Now they tell me the power supply. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this type problem and would be will to share.

Have you checked the UPS? Is it a minuteman? Maybe try it in another outlet? You've got me. Never had that problem myself.

Sounds like hardware. It is possible in Unix to have a bad memory chip and when the software begins to load this area in memory, it dies. It is also possible it is a defective Motherboard. This is a common occurance in the MAP5P
