I can't find any documentation on this warning alarm....anyone else encounter it?

The App is VP
The resource type is CPUPERF
The alarm Code is 2

And it's currently only a warning.

I can't find CPUPERF anywhere in my copy of the documentation. Anyone have any ideas?

TIA,
Steve

My documentation points to another manual -
To display Lucent Intuity Platform events see
Lucent Intuity Messaging Solutions R4 Alarm and Log messages comcode 585-310-566
I don't have that one downloaded yet but probably will now to complete documentation.

Sorry Steve, I couldn't find that document any longer on the Avaya site.

From the documentation:

VP CPUPERF 2:

The CPU is working too much. There is insufficient idle time.

1. To repair the problem either:

Decrease system usage

Increase system capacity

I saw this error one time. I rebooted the Audix and never saw it again.

I too have seen this problem and cleared it by rebooting Intuity.
I do a monthly reboot as suggested by the maintenance documentation. Apparently the Unix OS that Audix runs on requires regular rebooting to keep itself sane.
Kind of like an NT box. : )
I also use that time as an opportunity to reset the clock. The Intuity's clock drifts forward in time. Same problem for the Definity PBXs.
