Hi every one !

I've been trying to setup Intrusion but without success Can anybody see where i'm going wrong ?

x5001 Has the following cat -
Traf =01030300
Serv =02011207
Cdiv =000151000

x6417 Has the following cat -
Traf =01030300
Serv =02151207
Cdiv =001151000

The way I understand it - That should allow x6417 to Intrude on x5001.
Is there something strange about Digitals Intruding on Analouges ?????

Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks in advance

Arnoldnt

You are right, 6417 can intrude 5001; but what about the device which 5001 is connected? Can 6417 intrude that device??? //patcher

Not sure I understand what your asking Patcher ?

I'm sure you press 4 for Intrude ? Is there away means of checking to make sure it is ?

6417 is a Digital
5001 is a Analouge

All I Get is 'INT Request Failed'

Help !

Thanks - Arnoldnt

6417 can intrude 5001, according to serv. What I am asking you is where 5001 connected????? Check the serv category of whatever device/extension/trunk on which 5001 is connected; most probably intrusion is not allowed. If it is not allowed, this means you cannot intrude 5001 even your serv is higher that 5001. In english, IF YOU INTRUDE 5001 YOU ALSO INTRUDING THE EXTENSION/TRUNK WHERE 5001 IS CONNECTED SO YOU NEED TO CHECK THE OTHER PARTY'S SERV. //patcher

6417 can't intrude 5001. Because 5001 serv doesn't allow this. SERV=xx01xxxx is only set cat for initiating intrusion but doesn't open for intrusion. If you want to initiate an intrusion to 5001 change SERV=xx03xxxx. This will open 5001 for intrusion.
