Intranet authentication using NT logon

Is there any way I can see the identity of a user that has logged into his NT pc so that he doesn't have to re-log in to the intranet?

We use it all over our intranet and check pages access, record access, etc.

How do I use it, please? When I put

<CFOUTPUT>#CGI.REMOTE_USER#</CFOUTPUT>

into my cf page and run it I would expect to see my logon details, no?

It doesn't output anything....

CGI.REMOTE_USER

??

I can see cgi.REMOTE_ADDR.

You have to change it on your web server.

E.g.

If you are using IIS, do not use anonymous access authentication method. Use NT Challenge/Response.

I use the challenge/response too and it works.

BUT, how can I see what groups the NT user belongs to.

If I knew that, I could determine more about each user's individual networks rights.
