I was wondering if someone can help. The issue I have is that I have 3 sites Sydney Main site NR1, Melbourne NR 2 and New Zealand NR 8.

When somebody calls from New Zealand (NR 8) to Melbourne (NR 2) they have been configured to call via Sydney (Main Site NR 1). I have set this up using intervening regions i.e. NR8 to call NR 2 has to go via NR1. This works up until the point the call connects then the call goes from NR 8 to NR 2. Please see below. The site uses a Hub and Spoke Technology as opposed to Mesh.

The example below shows a user in New Zealand calling a Melbourne Number and as you can see the call starts off using Sydney, however, the call then binds between NR 8 and NR 2, bypassing NR 1.

Anybody know how I can ensure calls when connected go through Sydney and not directly between sites.

Regards
Naz

I'd like to know what's your purpose because im a little flustered reading this.

What CM are u in? What gateways are u using? DID #s on each site? This is only in 1 system right?

It is simple just change the NR setting as below. Please be noted that it will use extra medpor resoure in NR1.

NR8 direct wan NR1 only
NR2 direct wan NR1 only
NR1 direct wan NR8 & NR2 both
