It's monday so I got a strange problem, strange to me anyway

I've got a XP Service Pack 2 machine on our Server 2003 network

I can access the internet, I can ping other computers and devices on our network, but the mapped network drives cannot be accessed! The drives show the red X as though these are disconnected.

This was working three days ago, but not now

I ran restore for 10 days ago, but nothing.

Any ideas?

Go to the run command and type in \\yourservername\sharedDrive to see if you can gain access to the shared drive, it sounds like a permissions problem

could be dns - are the drives mapped by name or ip ?

Laters, phat, headshape
