I keep having this problem where after my computer is on for about 1-2, internet on the whole time, but as soon as I try to browse the internet it acts like I'm not connected at all (giving me the cannot access web page), same goes for email. Now when I restart my computer, everything is fine for about another 1-2 hours. Can someone help me fix this

Some more details would help.
How are you connected to the Internet? dial-up, braodband modem directly to your PC, through a LAN, through a router?
What is your hardware, and be specific.
Are you using any P2P applications at the same time? Kazaa, WinMx, Piolet, mIRC, usenet groups, eDoneky, eMule or anything similar when this happens?
As a guess, you have an inactivity or hibernation setting for the hardware device to the internet, and you should check in Control Panel, Power Options, to disable this. You should also check through Device Manager, Network Adapters, your network adapter, Configure, Advanced, to make sure there is no inactivity time-out value set.
Finally, you should check with your ISP. Many disconnect an inactive connection after a period that ranges from 12 minutes to 2 hours. Please tell use what ISP you use, and what the Plan is for service.

Your details are scant.
As a very good guess, you need new drivers. If your Ethernet Adapter is the D-link 311/312 adapter, the best advice is to replace it.
Note that even if your are not using the specific P2P application discussed, the issue is universal for ethernet drivers optomized for TCP and not heavy UDP traffic that most all P2P applications require:

This is not to blow you off, I am an MVM at that site, and if anyone pounds TCP/IP it is the folks in the P2P forum there. I have learned a lot of tricks of benefit to the professional community about the odd things for specific hardware and specific driver issues. But I suspect that site would be a better source of future help.
