Internet information server (from WinXP prof) work with PHP ? How ?

I want to know if the server from WinXP Prof. work with PHP & MySQL database and how exactly must to be configurated to do that> or maybe what other webserver is needed.
I just start to learn PHP and MySQL and i'm verry frustated that I can see nothing there ! Please understend me !

Hello!

No worries all you have to do is to enter the default document filename.php and IIS will pick it as your default/home page..

I just install Apache Server and this works properly with php. Thx. for ideea.
