Internet Gateway

The Internet gateway appearing under Network Connections says my computer is using another pc to connect to the Internet. How do i find this Internet connection sharing computer on the network

Not 100% sure if it will work, but if you ping the gateway using -a it should resolve the hostname if it is a PC as opposed to a router etc.

i.e. ping -a xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Ok.But how do i determine whether there is a pc or a router handling the Internet connection.
