I get a message: iexplore.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. I can't find the error log (don't think it would hep me anyway) and IE won't open AT ALL! I had to use Netscape. I'm getting sick of it though, and I wonder if anyone here can help me. Can you?

Go to My Computer, Control Panel, Select add/remove software, Then select Internet Explorer, then select change/remove. When you do this it will pop a menu to re-intall, remove or repair. Select repair and see if this does not fix it. If not I would re-install IE.

Go to Start-->Control Pane-->Administrative Tools-->Event Viewer.

The error should be located in the Application Log somewhere. That's one of the better places to start.

try manually cleaning out all the IE junk (temp files, history) somtimes it can get corrupted and crash IE.
