thanks for your answers...the error message that appears is with iexplore.exe and when I open the the technical error data this appears:

C:\DOCUME~1\GASTON\CONFIG~1\Temp\WER5.tmp.dir00\IEXPLORE.EXE.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\GASTON\CONFIG~1\Temp\WER5.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

Try running the Disk Cleanup tool to clean up and remove your Temp Internet Files and other Temp files and see if that helps.

To get further information about the error look in your Event viewer.

Look in the System or Application folder. You can get to the Event Viewer via right click My Computer icon and select Manage.

Any errors logged in the Event Viewer can be expanded by double clicking on the error line.

Take any event error I.D. number and search for it on this site.
