Internet Explorer is generating errors, error log is being created.

When I try to open internet explorer an program error occurs saying:
Iexplorer.exe has generated errors you will have to restart the program. An error log is being created.
But, when I go to Windows Explorer and open Internet explorer, it dials to the internet and my homepage opens in windows explorer. I know how to find the error log Drwtsn32.log but, when I find it I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to mess up my computer so I don't mess with anything I don't know anything about. I would really appreciate some help.

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Click on Internet Explorer. A box will open and one of the choices is to "Repair". Give that a Try.
