Internet explorer home page trouble

Im having a problem keeping my homepage set to a certain website. Whenever i close out of IE6 it resets the homepage to " about:blank " and says page cannot be displayed. I keep setting the default to

http://www.yahoo.com,

but it always resets whenever i close out and go back in. can anyone help?

Open the site

http://www.yahoo.com

.In internet explorer on the tool bar u have tools.
click on tools ---> Internet options.
On the home page option click the button Use Current.
close IE and try and reopen IE now.Ur issue should be resolved

There's currently a malware out there that resets to "about:blank."
Run through the fixes in this faq608-4650
Post a log in forum760 is your problems persist.

d/l both (install and uninstall) "IE Lock" and apply LOCK once yahoo page is set.
