Hi,

I'm using Internet Explorer 7 under Windows Vista Home Premium.

A few days ago, when execute IE, intermittently a windows appears with the message "Internet Explorer has stopped working". Then, the IE try to restart with the message "Internet Explorer is restarting ..."

I concluded that is an add-on that is causing this, because when execute IE without the add-ons, it executed normally.

Then, I need discovery which add-on that is causing this problem. I did not find in Internet nothing that shows me a list of add-ons installed, with their respective dates of installation, so I can decide which add-ons were installed in my Windows in last days.

Then I need to know how I can uninstall an add-on, so the my problem finish.

Someone has some idea?

Thanks,

When I first saw the title (Internet Explorer has stopped working abnormally), I thought 'someone must be over the moon', something from Microsoft that is working correctly!!!

However, back to your question, At the upper-right o the Internet Explorer window is a Tools button. Click this and select Manage Add-ons, then Enable or Disable Add-ons.

This might allow you to disable the add-ons - I'm not sure as I rarely use Internet Explorer (use Firefox 3 instead), and haven't any add-ons installed.

Hope This Helps
Rich.

Hi, Listen. This is what I would do in your case. I would switch to Google Chrome. It won't crash in the same way that your IE crashed.

The IT field is riddled with bugs. It's not something that we can fix, in general, unless a standard will be set.

If the above coment doesn't work, try....

Start>Controll Pannel>Program and features> INstalled Updates.

You can uninstall updates from there.

Good Luck. :)
