I hold my hands up and confess I downloaded and ran an application from a website that wasn't one of my usual secure sources, and since then Internet explorer keeps closing as soon as it opens. I tried upgrading IE and it was the same. I have AD-Aware and have ran this, I have sophos and have ran this, I downloaded Firefox and this worked fine, any ideas as to what it could be doing to internet explorer and how to check it out, as I need IE for a html course I want to start.

Thanks
