In Internet Explorer 5.0, when you click on a link to a .zip file, there is a popup that asks "save to disk" or "Open file from current location". At the bottom of this popup is a checkbox, something about make this default or dont ask again. Something like that. My brother clicked that. Now when I click on a link to .zip files, it automaticly starts "save to disk". I need to be able to chose again. I am trying to install a program from a zip file and I need to do it from the "current location" but I dont get that popup anymore. How can I reset IE to ask again.

I already went to "File Types" and made sure the Confirm open.... box was checked. That is the only thing I have found to check so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the simplest method would be to upgrade to 1e5.5
if you have 5.5 and this occurs, you go to tools, internet options, advanced and restore defaults

In 5.0 restore defaults is located in preferences

I am at work right now. I will try that as soon as I get home. Thank you for the help.
