Hi all,

I have two computers connected with two IP’s 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 with a 255.255.255.0 sub mask. I can share files and the printer but when I try to share my internet connection it doesn’t work. To share my internet (that works) I must change the DHCP to dynamic on both computers and lose my file share of my network drives.

I already have disable the firewalls and anti-virus.

Can anyone help me

Tanks in advance
Jorge

What kind of router are you using?

What IP addresses are the computers assigned once you make them dhcp?

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

I use a cross cable to do my network conections because I only have 2 computer. No router.

About the IP addresses the computers assigned i don't realy know but one has the 192.168.0.2 for shure.

You should be able to re-establish the share after an ip change, as long as you're still in a common subnet. On each machine, goto the command prompt and type "ipconfig[enter]" and post that info here.
