We currently connect to our ISP using a multi-user plan which means to say that a modem and a separate phone line is installed at each workstation. If 4 users connect to the net at the same time, 4 phone lines get tied up!

We plan to install a Netware 5.2 server. Would it be possible to install a modem on the server and allow several workstations to access the net simultaneously sharing tjust one internet connection?

Please confirm NetWare version as NetWare 5.2 does not exist. -----------------------------------------------------

How about using Microsoft's Internet Connection Sharing? Have a PC that connects and let the other share it. It is a little tough to get going but it does work.

We are using Windows 98 on the workstations and unlike Win2K, Win98 doesn't have a built-in feature like Internet Connection Sharing. Anyways, I'm presently downloading a demo version of a software program that will give us Internet Connection Sharing. Thanks!
