I have a w2k pro connected to a w2k server which i use for internet connection sharing. Everytime when i use the w2k pro to connect to some FTP sites, the server freezes and reboot itself with a save dump message logged in the event log. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot.

Have you installed the latest service packs on the server? Also, have you searched Microsoft's knowledgebase at support.microsoft.com with the event ID of the event that is being logged? Maybe this will shed some light on the problem?

I received the following in the event log:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
0x000000d1 (0x000000cd, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xf1c796e2).

It happens when I use IE to connect to FTP from another computer. I think I already have the most updated service pack and patches.

Any hints?
