Internet connection problem

I have configured my linksys router bfsr41
one computer workes well i can't connect to the other computer.
instead of obtaining ip address from DHCP i see
automatic private address starts with 162.x.x.x
but my router starting ip is 192.168.1.x
I could not renew ip address
but if i configure manualy i can ping router but can't connect to net
any suggection is highly appreciated

Thanks It worked fine & now iam able to get the connection back but i have another problem
I can't see my network connection
if i click network places - view network connection i see only blank screen

Though My user account configured as administrator
network setup wizard msg shows your user account does not have adequate permission

Can't go to display control panel msg pops
your system administrator disabled the display control panel
