Internet cannot start while ZoneAlarm is on?!

I have problem to start internet explorer (IE6) when my ZoneAlarm Suite is on. When click to IE icon is stayed dead. I force to switchig off ZoneAlarm to start Internet. Once Inrternet open I can activate ZoneAlarm again but that's not the point.
I tried to reinstall ZoneAlarm and IE as well but problem persisting. All my friends have no problem with Zone. Can someone explain me how to fix this problem. I supposed is something about settings.
Please, step-by-step because I'm not great computer guru.

Try this:
Get into zonealarm, click "Program control"
Make sure the "Automatic lock" is set to "off"
Your should see a sentence says
"Automatic internet lock is disabled
