Internet Access: URGENT!!!

I need to know how to use an internet connection, send data over it, recieve it, and disconnect again. This is REALLY urgent!!!

If you're talking simple FTP, then then Internet Transfer Control may be useful. And if the Inet control isn't enough then you have more capabilities using the WININET API.

There is also E-Mail, with perhaps MAPI controls.

If you were a little more specific in what you are trying to do, it would be perhaps easier to look at various alternatives

Really all I need to do is to repeatedly send and recieve values from one computer to another via the internet.

If both computers are using static IP addresses, then I would suggest you look at using VB's WinSock control.
