Our setup is:

Site A: PRI for phone lines. T1 for Point to Point to Site B: Running Merlin Legend R7 / 007MLM Voice Mail

Site B: T1 Point to Point to Site A Running Merlin Legend R7 (All calls route though Site A)

Everything is working fine except for International Dialing. (Local and Long Distance work without issue)

When I dial an international call it just sits there. I had the Telco setup a trap but they don't see anything when I dial internationally from Site B.

Any ideas?

Try taking these steps at the remote site. Essentially what I'm doing here is forcing 011 prefixed calls to go over the point-to-point circuit.

F8 = Tables
F6 = ARS
F2 = ARS Input
Enter table number (1-24): Dial 1 and then press Enter
Select one:
Choose F3 Exchange and then press Enter

Enter entry number (1-100): Dial 1 and then press Enter
Enter area code or exchange: Dial 011 and then press Enter
F3 = Sub A Pools
Enter table number (1-26) and route (1-6): Dial 11 and then press Enter
Enter pool dialout code: Dial 890 and then press Enter

This assumes that the point-to-point trunks are assigned to Pool 890 in the remote PBX.

I think we are making progress. Now all the international calls are going to the Operator extension of site A: Any thoughts?

Thanks again for the help.

OK, I see. It sees the "0", sends the call to the operator, and thinks we're all done. I'm going to have to think on this one for a bit. You ARE dialing a 9 prior to 011 when making test calls from the remote, correct?

I dial 9-011 As soon as I hit the 2nd "1" it starts ringing the operator.
