Hi,

I have a single 3903 set up to allow international dialling but it has stopped working. The NCOS allows international dialling and i have tested this by changing the NCOS on the set to a different class. When it has a international barred NCOS it doesnt allow the call, but with the allow NCOS the call gets out but then gets a message from the network provider (BT) saying the number isnt recognised.

The SPN for 00 (international) allows for 16 digits so thats not it

SPN 00
FLEN 16
ITOH NO
RLI 10
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

the NCOS is set to allow everything except premium rate numbers
CRNO 7
INIT ALOW
DENY 141033
141064
141066
141083
141088
141089
14109
033
064
066
083
088
089
09

On the outgoing message on the PRI i get the following
DCH 30 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 00000B0A CH 3 8 TOD 10:36:50 CK 2BA58BD8
PROGRESS: ORIGINATING END IS NOT ISDN
CALLING #:3676 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: UNKNOWN
CALLED #:14100 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: UNKNOWN

It appears to only be sending the 00 to the network, which would explain the number not recognised message. But for non international calls it sends all the digits. What might be stopping the meridian from sending all the digits out?

Regards

This is the only phone on the Meridian that has ever been allowed to make international calls so i cant compare it to a working TN unfortunatly.

The international number being dialled is the correct number as it works from other places. The number being called is 00 353 xxx xxx, so its not being stopped by the blocked premium rate set up.

The CLS is

Use a maintenance phone to select the appropriate trunk and see if you can dial the number, or you could just dial the ACOD then the number, If it goes through the PBX is likely to be the issue, if not, and you get the same message, it is a problem at the Telco.

Ive already tried UNR and that didnt work. The thing that concerns me is that the Meridian is letting him dial out but only seems to be sending the 00 part of the number.

i finally got to the bottom of it. I removed SPN 00 and allowed SPN 0 to dial 17 digits and it now works.

Thanks for the advise though.
