My company has a BCM 400 and we have to Mobal world phones that our salespersons use over seas. The problem is I cant dial the international number over our T1 line. We use Pool B (8 to dial out on our T1. As soon as i press 8 and start dialing the number i get "Invalid Number" error on my phone as soon as i pres 80. I can dial 8 any other US number such as 815418601243 and not have a problem. I can also dial out using our local phone company using 915418601243, but not on our T1. The number of the phone is 011447894031350. Any help so I can allow this number to be called over our T1 would be great. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm new to this system. You must dial 8 to access line pool b to use our outbound T1.

I made a temporary solution to the problem. I added line pool c to my phone extension and made it dial out on 7. I made line 136 line pool c. Line 136 is a line port on our t1. When i dial 7 and the number i am able to dial an internationall number starting with 01144. This will work for the time being, but does anyone know why i cant use 8 to dial a 01144 number?

You need to add a destination code of 8011 and point it to the route with pool b in it.

thanks for the help, i almost have it. Now the problem is when i dial the number after about the 12th digit it says i have reached a number that has been disconnected. The problem is that the number is 15 digits long. How do i correct this? Thanks again!

I tried that, I have prefix 011 set to DN length 16. Not sure why it doesn't work.

Make it 8011 and delete 1 and it will sent out 011+.

turn on the BCM Moniror and you will beable to see what you are sending out.

Why do you want it to go out the T1 Vs Copper is it cheaper, do you get a better rate.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

it doenst start dialing till 44 acorrding to the bcm monitor. sorry for being such a pain but im new to the whole system.

i must have something wrong because i must dial 8011011447894031350 to get the number instead of just 8011447894031350. any idea?

8011 is your access code and you must be deleting 4 instead of 1, so it's deleting the 8011 and you only want it to delete the 8.

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate everything. Yes, we get much better rates on our T1 for outgoing calls.

So is it working now and if so what was the fix???

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.
